Now... what are GoDaddy going to do with all that advertising revenue they gained from that nice little GoDaddy landing page that was in place..
I'm sure a charitable donation to a place of your choice by GoDaddy would not go amiss (especially coming up to Christmas).
Even in Beta, there must have been a fair few clicks made on their landing page by your user base...

After my first DNS downtime as an entreprenuer, I learned a valuable lesson. Get a third-party DNS service that offers Dynamic DNS and redundant servers in different geo locations.
This is the best thing I ever did, and it cost practically nothing. When our datacenter was cut off, we were able to switch to backup servers in a different location in minutes.
We use Nettica, but there are many.
