GTalk status update is nice, but why not make it a generic XMPP Jabber status update ? Those of us who have Jabber accounts from providers other than Google will be grateful.

Awesome! I like the HelloTxt Firefox "Ping from SearchEngine" - a .src file that resides in your Firefox "searchplugins/" folder and basically says "?status={searchTerms}" and on enter opens the hellotxt.com website and pre-fills the message box with {searchTerms}.

I got problems with the ping.fm bot on Google Talk since this update. The bot doesn't appears connected on many of my services. For example the bot doesn't appears on Google Talk Gadget, Google Talk client or Kopete but on Gmail it does appears.

I have got ping.fm set up for Gtalk. Sent a msg via Gtlak and nothing updated in twitter? Is there a long delay? Also not sure how to update Gtalk status via ping.fm so using Twit2Gtalk app which is working.
